The washer door will unlock at the end of the drain. After 8 minutes the door will unlock. Front loaders have a locking mechanism to avoid opening the door during a washing cycle but occasionally this lock will be activated accidentally. The door lock led light will blink.

Fresh hold option is on. When the lock light is blinking it typically means that the unit either took to long to fill with water in which case it ll go into flood mode and keep draining for 15 20 minutes. If the washer will not unlock at the end of a wash cycle unplug the washer or disconnect power. Door locked at the end of the cycle.

To unlock the door cancel the fresh hold option by touching power cancel. The door locked light is flashing the washer is humming but nothing else is happening. When using one of these cycles the door will remain locked until the cancel button is pushed. The washer will go into a hold and drain routine for 8 minutes.
